Zoning, Planning and Land Use Section

Welcome to the Zoning, Planning and Land Use Section Web site, the online home of the North Carolina Bar Association's newest section.  Within the past decade, zoning and land use law has evolved as a growing specialty among members of the Bar. The pace of real estate development in North Carolina and the growing body of regulations by local governments have created significant opportunities for attorneys practicing in the zoning and land use area. As the number of attorneys practicing in this area has increased in recent years, the NCBA and its members recognized the need for establishing the Zoning, Planning and Land Use Section, which was approved on April 8, 2005.
